Watched the film 'Crash' in lesson yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was very sad and quite tragic to me but I loved everything about the way it had been produced, it seemed very simple and to the point which was very effective. Probably more effective than if they had used loads of complex editing techniques etc. It was a great film and I really enjoyed watching it (also, the voice over on the opening credits was very effective).

Yay, well done Molly - first person to blog about Crash!
Am glad you enjoyed it - is an excellently produced film, eh? When that little girl is 'shot' and the father screams silently while the lovely song plays in the background - stirring stuff..
Maybe something to look at your for your group's new film? A contrast of sound to what's happening, visually? Charlotte's had the same idea, with her Clockwork Orange extract.. have a look at her blog.
But well done, superb documenting.
